BRYNEGLWYS SLATE MINE
This underground slate quarry lies above the village of Abergynolwyn in
mid-Wales. Active from 1840s for a century, the workings are extensive
and can be explored via the CAL access scheme for entry on to
underground sites owned by the Welsh Government or NRW.
